The rural district lies at the foot of the western slope of the East Netherlands Plateau. This part of the plateau is an ancient river terrace from the Lower and Middle Pleistocene with a clearly visible terrace edge. On the slope, former meltwater valleys are now present as dry valleys.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Listed below are the farms currently known to us.
