Lintelo Halt, Lintelo

Overview

Lintelo Halt (telegraphic code: LTO) is een voormalige stopplaats aan de Winterswijk–Zevenaar railway, operated by the Geldersch Overijsselsche Locaal Spoorwegmaatschappij (GOLS). De halte werd geopend op 15 juli 1885 en gesloten op 15 mei 1938.

Beside the halt stood a white crossing keeper’s house with the name ‘LINTELO’ displayed in large letters. An upper floor was added around 1922. The house was demolished around 1951. The street name Halteweg still recalls the former halt.
