Overview
Hofstraat 6 opened in 1965 as the new bank building of the Aalten Co-operative Farmers’ Loan Bank, later Rabobank Aalten. The building attracted national attention because the first drive-through banking counter in the Netherlands was put into use here.
The bank had previously been based at Kerkstraat 15. The history of the bank, its move and the drive-through counter is described on the profile of the Aalten Co-operative Farmers’ Loan Bank / Rabobank Aalten.
