Overview
Algemene Bank Nederland had an office at Landstraat 30 in Aalten in 1967.
The present bank building at this address was constructed in 1956 for the Co-operative Middenstandsspaarbank to a design by the Aalten architectural practice B. Blekkink. The 1967 address directory subsequently lists the office of Algemene Bank Nederland at Landstraat 30.
The current Old Aalten sources do not yet establish the precise transition from the Middenstandsspaarbank to Algemene Bank Nederland or ABN’s full period of occupation at this address. The architectural and property history therefore remains on the Place page for Landstraat 30.
