Garage Veerbeek opened in 1928 in the centre of Aalten (Stationsstraat 6), on the site later occupied by the workshop of Smid van Lochem. The garage later moved to the corner of Hogestraat and Ringweg. More recently, Jos Vaanholt’s caravan dealership occupied the site. The building was demolished in 2022 and houses were built in its place.
