Overview
Landbouwstraat 2 was the main premises of the Co-operative Agricultural Association (CLV), better known in Aalten as De Landbouw. Founded in 1898, the association developed into an agricultural co-operative with several branches and transhipment points in Aalten and its rural districts.
The history of the association, its branches and later mergers is described on the profile of the Co-operative Agricultural Association. The Landbouwstraat complex remained in use until 1995. After its demolition, new premises for Christelijk College Schaersvoorde were later built on the site.
