Overview
In the 1980s, De Malle Jan was one of Aalten’s best-known nightlife venues. Many visitors remember the illuminated dance floor, rotating lights, bottles of Grolsch and a DJ playing disco and rock classics.
In 2013, Omroep Gelderland featured Disco Mallejan in its programme Gelderse Koppen. In the report, former visitors and others involved shared memories of the Aalten nightlife venue.
Not to be confused with the earlier stergolf course called ‘De Malle Jan’ at Hotel Vultink, Plein Zuid 14.
