The rural district of ’t Klooster (the Monastery) is situated east of Barlo and north of Bredevoort. The name originates from the Schaer Monastery that once stood here.
’t Klooster is a relatively new rural district within the municipality of Aalten, as the area was considered part of Barlo until 1980.
