Willem Catharinus Janzen was born on 21 October 1899 in Est en Opijnen (Gelderland), the son of Ernst Janzen and Catharina Krijgers. In 1929, he had his surname officially changed to Krijgers Janzen.

On 5 June 1929, he married Gerria Noteboom from Rhoon in Amsterdam. As far as is known, four children were born from this marriage, one of whom was stillborn.

In 1939, he succeeded J.H.W. Mensink as a notary in Aalten.

Krijgers Janzen lived with his family at Bredevoortsestraatweg 67 in Aalten.

He passed away on 3 April 1991 and is buried at Berkenhove Cemetery.
