Accordion society
Accordion society Con Forza was founded in 1988 and is based in Aalten. The orchestra is conducted by Wil Plas, a professional accordionist from Enschede.
The society consists of an orchestra and an ensemble. The orchestra plays a wide repertoire, ranging from jazz to tango, from French chanson to German Schlager, and from classical music to pop. The ensemble is a small group of advanced players.
The society has about twenty members from across the region. The highlight is the annual concert. It also performs regularly elsewhere in the region. Con Forza rehearses weekly at the Kulturhus in Lintelo.
