Welke naam de boerderij voor 1633 had, weten wij niet. Als bewoner wordt in het midden van de voorafgaande eeuw Lubbert Alberts genoemd, misschien een jongere zoon van Aalbertshuis? In 1609 pachtte de familie Grievinkhof de grond van de kerk. Zij hadden toen ook Klein Rengerdinck, waarover wij verder niets vonden.
